It was a Holy Tuesday when I had the chance to try out the newest offerings at Paradise Dynasty.
Their Specialty Xiao Long Bao captivated my attention. You have to start tasting it from their Original to their spicy Szechuan Xiao Long Bao. There’s a technique in order to get these xiao long bao using the chopstick. Get it in the topknot using the spoon for support, if needed. Resting it back on the spoon, nibble it a small hole to let out the steam. Sip the soup from the spoon. I tried out dipping it with vinegar, but you can also add ginger.
Their Charcoal Custard Lava Bun is one of my favorites which was served to us yesterday. I love the gooey salted egg inside the bun.
I was amazed when I take a bite of one of their appetizers, Steamed Glutinous Rice Stuffed in Red Dates. I didn’t notice that the red thing around it was dates.
They have a wide variety of appetizers such as Chilled Baby Spinach with Vermicelli, Lettuce Roll with Homemade Sesame Sauce, Chilled Jellyfish and Seafood in Vinaigrette, and Chilled Tofu with Century Egg.
Can’t get enough of some of the dishes below that I went home in food coma after the lunch out.
This is not your typical congee though when I had a cup of Scrambled Egg White with Fish and Conpoy, it tastes the dried scallop in it. You should not overdo mix the egg white.
