Stoked over Craft Series: Pulutan at Niner Ichi Nana

When was the last time I have a great time in a bar? Hmmm…that was ages, LOL! With great drinks and foods, some of my friends asked me on how I can still chillax despite of my uber hectic sched at work and other online commitments. Staying late at night with beer and chips on the side while finishing some articles at work.

Last October 16, I was invited to try out the latest Craft Series by Niner Ichi Nana and the theme for the month was Pulutan. It’s a night of creative, fun, and exciting eat and drink event every Thursday wherein the food and cocktails are specially prepared by Chef Mikko Reyes and fellow foodie blogger Erwan Heussaff.

In case you didn’t know Niner Ichi Nana means ‘917’ which is located at the ground floor of The Globe Tower, and adjacent to English gastro pub inspired The Hungry Hound.

Upon entering Niner, all I want to do is to unwind after a 16 hours workload from my tasks online. It’s been a long time that I went to a bar and get onto the glass of cocktail…away from my lappy and enjoy the entire night.

While waiting some of my blogger friends, I was curious on the menu that was given to us that night. One particular Panulak catched my attention: Happy Horse. It’s a fusion of Bacardi, House Pineapple Lemon Soda, Cointreau, and Paulaner. I was literally stoked when I shared my drink to fellow blogger, Rejj. Been drinking occasionally but Happy Horse gave me the urge to try out a lot of cocktail drinks.

One drink that made my night: Happy Horse! It's not too strong but I'll recommend it for those who want to chillax. Stoked!

Other drinks that they served that night are Pom Before Prom (mixture of Bombay Sapphire, Pomelo Scrubs, Elderflower, Mint Leaves, and Simple Syrup), Three In One (Hennessy VS, Cold Press coffee, condensed milk, Mole Bitters, Vanilla Tinoture, and egg white) which I was supposed to try out that night and Traitor Tetra (Bourbon, Jerry Thomas bitters, Mango Puree, Orange Juice, Orgeat, and Lime Juice) which was served in a tetra pack…amazeballs!

Meanwhile on the pika pika side, love their Legit Sisig, Tokwa’t Baboy, Oyster Sinuglaw and my favorite Sizzling Foie and Shrooms! Overall, I love the concept of the Craft Series and cozy feeling when I get in Niner! Creative yet stoked over on how it served like the Traitor Tetra! Can’t wait for another Craft Series next month!
