Food adventure at SM Mall of Asia’s International Food Fest

Last September 1, I was delighted to join a food tour/blogger’s night with fellow foodie bloggers for the upcoming SM Mall of Asia’s International Food Festival. As MOA Eats food fest which includes an exciting activities to all food enthusiast out there such as awesome prizes, special treats and also great food discoveries from 50 participating restaurants. World class cuisines at its best! It’s actually my first time to join in a fun-filled food tour. Our first stop is an Italian restaurant called Bistro Ravioli. According to Ms. Princess Pilarta, Managing Director of the said resto, she said that their signature brick oven pizza is not oily than the traditional pizza in town. I love their Chorizo Ravioli with Creole Shrimp in Vodka Cream Sauce, which is included to their special menu for the said International Food Festival.

Then, upon entering Hokkaido Ramen Santouka, felt like I’m in Japan! I was devoured over their authentic ramen! They served us Spicy Creamy Shio Ramen. The creamy broth and the spiciness which the said dish makes me love ramen! And I craved over their gyoza and tonkatsu!

Final stop of the said tour is Krispy Kreme.  We went inside to its kitchen and they showed us on how does their sweet donuts made.

Other activities for the #moaintlfoodfest are Special Eats photo exhibit which will be showcase at Main Mall Atrium, Main Mall Entrance; and live cooking demonstration by the top chefs that will be held at Tempura and Sbarro on Sept.5 and Claw Daddy, New Orleans, and Vikings on Sept. 12, 5:30 onwards.

There will be a contest to be hosted on Mall of Asia’s social media channels (Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram). Two lucky foodies will have a chance to dine with culinary luminaries at an exclusive Chef’s Table meal and two round-trip tickets to any local destination via Air Asia Zest.
