An afternoon at Chez Karine
Love macarons? Craving for panna cotta?
Two weeks ago, after my meeting with my new client for a project, I decided to visit SM Megamall’s Fashion Mall. And been curious about on the food joints there, I spend my afternoon at Chez Karine. I was supposed to be in Taguig after the brainstorming, but time constraint…I stayed in Ortigas and had myself a time to ponder a lot of things.
I’ve heard a lot of raves about this French patisserie. Chez Karine caters artisanal, seasonal pastries, and aromatic coffee that makes me crave for sweets that day.

Upon entering this quaint joint, I love the ambiance which makes me feel at home. With their yummy panna cotta, macarons, and cakes, I was in awe of their wide array of pastries nearby the counter.
Friendly staff welcomed me and recommended some of their best-sellers that suits my budget. If you have a 500 pesos on your pocket, you can nibbled over their to-die for Mango Swiss Roll, a bunch of macarons or cookies and Caramel Fleur de Sel to top-up while chillaxin from the hectic workload.

I ordered Salted Caramel macarons, Caramel Macchiato and Muscuvado Latte, my brief stay at Chez Karine-Megamall…I can’t get enough of their cakes, but the rain poured in when I decided to go home.
Rating; 5 stars. I recommended Chez Karine for those who love to eat pastries and want to chillax after a long day at work.

Aside from their SM Megamall branch, Chez Karine also have their branch in Taguig. It is located at 1/f Serendra Mall, Bonifacio Global City. To know more about this chic cafe, check out their official Facebook page, follow them on Twitter and Instagram account.
