Revisiting Dimsum Break

It’s been a long time that I visited Dimsum Break’s first restaurant in Metro Manila. The last time that I’ve been to their SM North-The Annex branch was in December 2012.

With the Oriental interiors that made up the whole resto, they served the best Chinese dimsum in town! I had a chance to visit again few weeks ago. While waiting for my client, I was curious if they have the same menu and I ordered a bunch of it.

Kalokang sa takaw ko nito...naubos ko lahat. LOL :D

I love to eat dimsums! My late grandfather taught us to be a foodie. When I was a kid, we’re always eating out in Manila. He make it sure that we’re satisfied on what’s in store in every food trip we have.

Aside from their tasty meals and desserts on their menu, I also had a chance to try their Halo-Halo.

Halo-Halo with ice cream on top

It’s not the usual Halo-Halo that I ate for the past few weeks due to the unpredicted hot weather. It has ube flavored ice cream on top but I was disappointed on how it taste. They must improve on the ingredients and spice up with a pinch of sugar on it.

For the dimsum, it’s a four star but for the Halo-Halo itself, they must add other ingredients in a typical Pinoy dessert.
