Plunging into the water under that bright sun is in! Those tan lines enter trends once more, and sun block will definitely sell like hot cakes this season. I can already feel the sand under my feet and can't wait for that vacation along the shore.
Well summer doesn't have to be somewhere else than home. You can still enjoy with your kiddo in an inflated pool at home, or maybe a nice peaceful and reflective time in the tub. We need to freshen up every now and then; not just by bathing, but also by picking the best refreshments to serve our family. What else complements a nice summer break? Nothing beats fresh fruits and natural juice for a healthy cold refreshment.

1 piece banana, ripe (latundan variety)
Juice of 1 calamansi
1 can (240 ml) Pineapple Juice
2-3 tbsp. sugar or syrup
2 cups crushed ice
1. Peel banana.
2. Pour calamansi juice over banana and mash it. Set aside.
3. In a blender, pour in pineapple juice and sugar or syrup. Blend.
4. Add the banana and continue blending until smooth.
5. Add the crushed ice. Blend for few 20 seconds.
6. Serve in a glass and enjoy!
